HFDX is a digital trading and investment platform built for users who need automated execution, real-time performance insights, and transparent risk visibility.

They approached us to redesign both their marketing presence and their internal trading dashboard to better communicate reliability, algorithmic performance, and operational control. Our work spanned UX architecture, high-fidelity UI execution, motion design, dark-mode trading UI, and a unified visual system across marketing and product.

The challenge

HFDX needed to communicate complex concepts—automated strategies, liquidity provision, performance metrics, and execution logic—to a diverse audience ranging from retail traders to advanced quant-native users. Key problems included:

• A landing page that didn’t establish trust or clearly differentiate algorithmic strategies
• Difficulty explaining how HFDX works, what makes it safe, and why it performs better than alternatives
• A dashboard that lacked structure for financial data, risk insights, and strategy performance
• No unified design language linking marketing claims to in-product reality
• High cognitive load due to dense informations, charting, and multiple active strategies

We delivered an end-to-end redesign across both the public website and the trading dashboard, ensuring consistent messaging, visual logic, and UX patterns that support high-stakes financial decision-making.

CONVERTING Landing Page

Our goal was to communicate trust, transparency, and performance without overwhelming new users.

We focused on:

• Clear explanation of automated strategies: inputs, logic, expected outcomes
• Performance storytelling: risk-adjusted returns, execution speed, liquidity statistics
• Trust-building elements: security measures, custody explanation, operational transparency
• Strong visual hierarchy that guides users from understanding → interest → conversion

Motion and micro-interactions were used to explain abstract concepts quickly and intuitively.

The dashboard was designed as a high-performance workspace for real traders. Key UX decisions included:

• Structuring the layout around portfolio value, strategy status, and risk exposure
• Implementing clear performance visualization: PnL, drawdowns, allocations, market conditions
• Standardizing actionable states (active, paused, ready, risk alert)
• Creating a dark, contrast-optimized UI consistent with industry trading standards
• Reducing cognitive load through modular sections, progressive disclosure, and simple terminology

The resulting interface gives users instant insight into how their strategies are performing and what actions they should take.
